Concordville Places New Utility 59 In Service

CONCORDVILLE – The Concordville Fire & Protective Association is proud to announce the new Utility 59 has been placed in service.
The new unit is a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 featuring seating for up to five firefighters, a lift gate on the rear of the truck’s 8-foot bed, a large toolbox for storage of firefighting equipment, and numerous LED emergency and scene lights. The new apparatus ... (Full Story & Photos)

Chadds Ford Township Supervisors tour Concordville's Fire Station

Structural Fire Fighting skills drill

On Thursday evening and again on Sunday morning, October 29th, Concordville Fire Company and Chester Heights Fire Company members had an opportunity to drill on a residential structure scheduled for demolition. Sunday Morning, Concordville Fire Company was dispatched to a local manufacturing business for a reported outside Propane leak. Crews arrived to find a broken fill nozzle with an unrestricted flow of Propane. The business's management team had already evacuated the building before the Fire Department's arrival.
